All smoke-and-mirrors celebrity shine. He was a transparent self-entitled and deeply ignorant phony. The only faith and confidence he restored was to the wealthy. Primarily by handing the country over to them. He was a jackass.

You can throw a fit all you like.. But we both know you would be humming a different tune if there was a little D next to his name.

I could give two hoots about what this airport is called. However, my SO absolutely refuses to call it Washington Reagan. Will not, full stop. The reason being is nothing to do with Reagan hate and more to do with when the renaming came about. Reps voted to rename the airport before he was dead. A detail which is against all protocol for naming things in DC. Thus, her refusal to call it that. Moreover, they said they were going to name it after a president back when this happened and it was named after a President already; was before Reagan's name was ever added.

All that aside, a reputable source or two might be helpful and not one that includes a he said, she said, he heard. It's a bloody rumor that doesn't even give direct quotes or list real people. Before you (OP) go running around playing Henny Penny try to have some perspective on your source, will you?

And, those Viet Cong were cowardly in the way they won that war. They were always hiding, and sneaking up on us.

We got beat by cowards.
The point is we lost the war.
Yeah, we do so much better by bombing from afar.
The US is a bunch of cowards as well, by your reckoning.

If John Murtha can have a ****ing airport named after him, then Ronald ****ing Reagan can.

John Murtha is a corrupt low life. Ronald Reagan's accomplishments are far superior to anything that Murtha could even dream about doing.

Now there's a pleasant thought.
If Regan was a bad actor then that makes Obama the Thief in the Night?

Anyone that would steal money out of your children's and grandchildren's piggy banks is just lower than pond scum. Better known as a scumsucker.

Of course, the Soviet Union ended the Cold War. They surrendered, broke apart, as a result of our bankrupting them in the arms race. So, you wanna give the South credit for ending the Civil War, too?
