Nah, her punk oldest son enlisted instead ...

I wonder when nononesense guy keeps blaring that only liberals dislike the governor.

I wonder how anyone could think that she can "unite" people when her own administrations have been characterized by infighting and chaos.

I wonder why David Kennedy can't even spell her name correctly.

Have you ever read the Constitution? I think you will find that all of those values are at least implied if not specifically spelled out in the Constitution.

Wonder if she'll go after Dowd for GETTING IT RIGHT???

Summed up succinctly:

What looked like a secret wedding turned out to be a public unraveling as the G.O.P. implosion continued: Sarah wanted everyone to know that she’s not having fun and people are being mean to her and she doesn’t feel like finishing her first term as governor.

The latest shoe in this saga dropped today literally. N.A.F.P.B dropped their support and affiliation with Palin. In a state the 15 year old group said that when she first came on the scene the identification between their goals and her statements were in 100% alignment. The association stated that they have spent the last 15 years carefully cultivating their identity and now now feel abandoned by what they see as promises not met by their former poster creature. In their statement they shared that the concerns have been building but that the events of the last few days has made reconciliation impossible. They are demanding that under penalty of legal action that Sarah Palin make no future references suggesting that she is one or has any similar characteristics. This is a big wow when you think back to the early days of the campaign and how quickly N.A.F.P.B was to embrace her. She provided a big distraction from the considerable negative publicity bought to to the group by Mike Vick. The it group appears is questioning any future endorsements of humans and considers Friday a sad day in their history. Wow not sure how Palin will respond but being disowned by the National Association of Fighting Pit Bulls must be a downer.

I think that there is some feeling in the Native communities that the governor tried to capitalize on her husband's fairly marginal connection to them during her VP run, but yet when they were out of food last winter up along the Yukon, she was chasing some lower 48 camera and only paid any attention to the situation when an evangelist showed up with some donations and some national press.

Of course she does have some supporters here; I'm sure that after the most vitriolic one crawls out of whatever the strip club du jour in Wasilla is these days we'll be graced with that particular opinion, but...

her approval rating has gone down significantly in recent months and this latest fiasco won't help that any.

Summed up succinctly:
“Several told me, independently of one another,” Purdum writes, “that they had consulted the definition of ‘narcissistic personality disorder’ in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders — ‘a pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy’ — and thought it fit her perfectly.”

This part of the article does sum up Frau Palin quite accurately.

It has nothing to do with the fact that he went overseas to war torn countries to cover wars even though he didn't have a job at CNN or anywhere else. His mother may be Gloria Vanderbilt but he's a self made journalist. So while you may not like him, it doesn't mean the show was just given to him. He's better than most of the anchors on Fox or the other networks for that matter.
