Sweet. We all know that movie stars are the best at speaking for us as they live in "the real world" and are concerned about making ends meet, etc. Based on some of his past comments, I'm sure he'll think rationally and make the best decisions for the greatest number of people. No f-ing way a guy like this won't think like he has an endless supply of money, can go or do anything he wants or have people agree with him just because they like his shows. He's just like one of us. Really.

Didn't we all get to listen to his phone conversations with his daughter? At least we know he is a good parent.

I hate the fact that just because celebrities have a platform, they feel the need to be involved in politics. Alec Baldwin has no great insight into politics, think of recent examples where an actor delved into politics and completely screwed the state up? Ronald Reagan being the exception in my book, I wish Hollywood would just shut the heck up and get back to making movies. They make movies where the hero blasts the bad guys with 9000 bullets, then speak out against guns. they make movies with excessive drinking, drugging and cigarette smoking, then tell us they are good examples and should be considered as leaders and legislators. Why we Americans give so much merit to Hollywood baffles me.

Real mature way to interact w/ a child. Sure speaks well of his ability to deal with a crisis, LOL!!! Narcissistic as hell - it's all about him, LOL.

Yes...his platform will surely be about family values. I thought he was moving to Canada after the Bush-Kerry election? He's not even a man of his word.

Maybe we can hook him up with Mark Sanford or John Edwards, depending on which party is willing to take him in.
