"WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)--No one in the Obama Administration is talking about a second economic stimulus plan, a senior White House Budget Office official said Wednesday.

Office of Management and Budget Deputy Director Rob Nabors told a U.S. congressional committee that there has been no talk "at this point" about more federal government spending to attempt to end the recession."

Oh I am sure no one is talking about it. Keep believeing everything you are told by your beloved administration.
That deserves a very loud laugh

So we should believe the media instead of the source? Now that's ironic, and funny!!

I saw Obama on a news clip and heard him say that there may be a need for a second stimulus, but at this time it's not certain. So, they ARE talking about it. They're just trying to figure out how to sell it to us considering that only 10% of the first stimulus has been spent, and it's done diddly for us so far.

No, we should use our own noggins and logically determine if something we are told is true. Of course the administration will not say they are talking about a second stimulus. that would mean they concede the first one is a FAILURE.

Maybe they should lay some groundwork for actually spending the first stimulus.

I find it interesting that the Administration kept pounding away that this was the "worst financial crisis since the Great Depression" and that they were responding in that light, yet they "misread" the economy? So what is it? The double worst financial crisis since the Great Depression? These guys take responsibility for nothing.
