I just wonder when the supporters of this guy will notice when things get hot at the WH he is off on a trip. He has already taken far more breaks than Bush did during his tour. His tiff with the FOP is too much for him to handle so he leaves the ship. I wonder if we will have to pull him out from under a bed if we are attacked again.

To recap: The Obamas a make their own money, are successful and rents a property for their vacation. Bush is born into massive wealth, and purchases a property for his R&R.
Yet somehow, the Obamas are elitist and good ole' GWB is the salt-of-the-Earth guy.
Obama was raised by a single mother and his grandparents. He took out loans to put himself through college, and then law school, and had to rely on hard work and to get where he is today.
OK you can push your non-sense on others but let's get a few things straight....Obama was never raised by a single Mom. Both times he lived with her, she was with a man. He raised by his Grandparents. His Grandmother was the VICE PESIDENT of Bank Of Hawaii AND he went to the most elite grade school/high school in Hawaii. It is about $15,000 a year.
As far as his whole student loan "LIE" .... let's see, he is black and he is supposedly brilliant and he had student loans???? Really? Wasn't able to get a full scholarship..... Hmmm???? Still paying off loans when he was 44????(that is what he claimed in his campaign) He was a millionaire from his books yet he was making payments on student loans. Hmmm? somethng doesnt' sound right about the whole "student loan" tale.

There's a passel of veeps at a bank. The Dunhams (Gramps sold furniture) lived in the same apartment for 30 years. ?What does that tell you? Paying for high school tuition means there was nothing left for college.

You don't sound very familiar with modern financial aid. Just about all students have some loans to pay off. Further, there is really limited financial aid for law school and Harvard tuition ain't cheap. Only the rich come out of there without a loan burden.
This is really a non-issue. 'Poorer than thou' contests are pointless.

Ok, so they're going away for a week in order to get some R&R and family time...and they're paying for it themselves. It's no secret that the Obamas are wealthy, as most other recent First Families have been.

There is no issue, only jealousy. The same group of people who claim health care is only for those who are able to provide for themselves, attack success in the next breath. Just another day in the life of a group of angry, ignorant hypocrites who obviously have self worth issues.
