Exerpted from the interview:
Quote:
BARACK OBAMA: ...When you rush these budgets that are a foot high and nobody has any idea what's in them and nobody has read them.

RANDI RHODES: 14 pounds it was!

BARACK OBAMA: Yeah. And it gets rushed through without any clear deliberation or debate then these kinds of things happen. And I think that this is in some ways what happened to the Patriot Act. I mean you remember that there was no real debate about that. It was so quick after 9/11 that it was introduced that people felt very intimidated by the administration.
Cap and Trade? Healthcare Legislation? just to mention a couple.

I'd love to see a reporter call him out on his hypocrisy, but none of them have the stones and the ones that do will never be granted an interview.

It's the congress & house (both sides of the aisle) that needs to address 'the urgency and need for speed'. They need the balls to "cut from", but they'd rather "add to" everything that passes their office and committees. He may want, but they hold both the purse strings, the details and the final vote. He just has the pen.

Before he became president he talked about Bush and how bad it is to rush things thru without them being able to read it. Now that is happening with him as president.

Do I need to ask again?

Actually, this morning Fox News played the audio of this interview, but you know, that's not "real news" approved by the state media.
