This e-mail is being started on Wednesday, July 29, 2009, by Gary Yantis, Seguin, TX.
I am sick and tired of our federal government passing laws from which they, as members of Congress and the White House, exempt themselves. We will probably have a federal health bill which most members of Congress will not even have read, nor will the President read as he signs it into law.
The purpose of this e-mail is to let our Congress men and women know that if they pass this law, we the Citizens of the United States, the owners of our Country and for whom these elected officials work, mandate that any person voting for the new Healthcare Law must also participate in the same program and must forgo any other insurance program. This must also apply to the President of the United States and his family.

If you agree with this e-mail please print your name and location at the bottom and keep the e-mail going.
If you agree with this email, please copy it and send it to all your friends and everyone else as well. Regardless if you are a Republican, Democrat or Independent, the law effects us all and Congress and the Whitehouse should be made to participate. This is our country, let's mandate it

Uhm, how did you manage to miss the fact that the whole point of this thing is so that every American can have access to the same insurance that Congress gives themselves?

How can you apparently be so against something you obviously know so little about?

I'm sorry, that is not the case. Congress and the Whitehouse have exempt themselves from the coverage of this new bill. They will have far superior coveage and so will their families.

Someone asked Obama today "Would you put your own family on this plan?" and Obama said "Yes, in fact, the plan I'm proposing is similar to what I had as a member of Congress"

Then they shouldn't object to giving up their own plans and opting out for this plan. Otherwise NO!!! They can stand in line with the rest of us.

It was broadcast last week that Congress is exempting itself from the new Healthcare Bill and Obama said he would get back to us.

For God's sake, they are trying to provide coverage and give people more OPTIONS. If they offer a public option I'm telling my private, employer sponsored provider they can kiss my A*S and they can stuff their $5000.00 deductible where the sun dont shine.

The only people still making mad money in this country are those profiting from others pain, be they defense contractors or health care insurance companies.

Have you seen the two plans side by side?
