Regardless of your personal opinions of Keith Olbermann and/or MSNBC, the factual information he outlined in his Special Comment tonight cannot be disputed. He discussed how GOP and Blue Dog Dems are legislating in the best interests of corporate entities within the healthcare/health insurance/Big Pharma industries, and not in the best interests of their respective constituents, due to the fact that they each receive substantial financial contributions from said health-related industries.

Quote:
Because the insurance industry owns the Republican Party. Not exclusively. Pharma owns part of it, too. Hospitals and HMO's, another part. Nursing homes — they have a share. You name a Republican, any Republican, and he is literally brought to you by... campaign donations from the Health Sector...

Of course he did. Did he give this look after he stated his point?

YouTube - Dramatic Look

I love when he does that.

I was lucky enough to see Keith this evening and it was one of his best end of the show comments. I’m tired of seeing our government bought and paid for by corporations and their lobbyists.

Corporations and “for profit” politicians have destroyed America and the quality of life we’ve had for so long.

Default your're kidding right?

I didn't watch him nor could I stomach the thought of it. Do you think he is telling you the truth? Honestly do you wonder why he only tells you one side of a story? From what I understand He never gives you the whole truth. If you want to know all facts research it your self.

The answer is yes,,,, I’ve seen and heard the whole truth from him and others. I’m not limited to one source of FOX propaganda. You might try it for a while and see how refreshing it is to get honest news and information about issues. Don’t limit yourself to just conservative rightwing whacko propaganda from Rush, and the talking heads on the right.

However you may not have seen it so you don't know what you missed!

And it's about time a President and the representatives of the USA stop bowing down to these greedy special interest groups down in DC trying to buy everyone. I'm sure they have no problem lining the pockets of the GOP and Blue Dogs they have extra cash to spend after bleeding us dry for the last 19 years.

We all know what's going on down there in DC we need Tort reform to keep these companies out of Washington and to stop them from affecting important decisions that affect every American in some way, its unconsitutional and immmoral. You can bet that in the last 2 months a lot of money has been exchanging hands in DC and we all know who's getting the bulk of it.

wow I'm speechless just saw the whole video. Well it was no surprise where the Blue Dogs came from or who is buying them out. Mike Ross is a crook we all know that, this is why special interests and politics needs to be killed. Too much money going around money that common consituents can't compete with, this is really a DISGRACE to all Americans and a slap to the face of the people that these representatives represent. This truly reminds me of the episodes of ROME on HBO same corruption then, same corruption now....only the names have changed, and the currency. shame shame shame

The elected reps from both parties bow low to lobbiests. This is not a one party issue. Thats why billions in pork is spent every year. Thats why we don't have tort reform. Thats why we send billions to Israel, Egypt and Jordon and thats whyNAFTA was approved. Add to this most favored nation status to countries like China whose gov knowingly allows patent vilolations and copy write violations.
Thats how DC really works.
