Forgive me if this is a duplicate post of this video (yes chielgirl, I did search). I just want to concentrate on this one part, where a Legal Immigrant from Brazil chastizes Sen Specter on all of the entiltlements the US has right now.

I'm sure the left will spin this as some plant put there by so called neo-cons.

She does make some very good points that most Americans feel the same way about.

How could it be a plant, all conservatives are old white men according to the left? How could it be a female latin immigrant has views that support conservative ideals?

I am a legal immigrant as well, and I couldn't agree more. Now, I come from a country where the government will take care of you from the cradle to the grave, and if you know how to work the system, you can avoid any real work for your whole life, and still live well.

How is that any different from America? We like to say that we have avoided Socialism masterfully, but have we really? The government already pays for healthcare for anyone too lazy not to get a job, we give out welfare to anyone with a hand reached out.

Tell me, how are we not a mostly Socialist country now? We now regulate the entire banking industry with an iron fist, and if the administration doesn't like the salaries, they are capped. How is that free enterprise? We control a huge portion of the auto industry (and by we, I mean the oligarchs), and if Uncle Sam says that a auto dealer needs to close, so be it.

And all this isn't enough for our terrible President, Obama. He now says we must have a government option to cover all Americans (which make no doubt, will bankrupt ever private insurance company). Socialism isn't creeping in, it's sprinting in.

All we can do as a nation is make our public official aware, and hope that we can hold off till 2010, when we get a more balanced Congress.

I truly pray that America can recover from Obama, we haven't recovered for LBJ yet, but I can dream right?

It's refreshing to hear point of views from people like you, unlike what the left says about the way you feel.

I am curious though and I'm sure the left posters may be thinking the same, you said you come from a country where you are taken care of "cradle to grave". How is that country working out now? Is oil what pays for their benefits?

Wells here's the good news, we'll never have to worry about her becoming a citizen. She'll never pass the test.
