This will cost the "D'oh! Bama" another few points in the polls. He had better stop looking to his copy of "Mein Kampf" for inspirationial ideas.
But his suggestion about sewing the letter "R" on republicans clothes will probably meet with approval from his closest supporters.
You have $20
I promise you, "I'll give you $10 a month from now"
Great, you think.
You'll have $30.
But you like to drink so you buy a bottle of JD with your $20.
The next month I give you $10.
And you try to blame me for you not having $30.
But you are still $10 wealthier than you'd be without my help.
That is what you are doing with the stimulus.
You logically cannot assign jobs lost in the private sector to the stimulus as you want to do.
Not exactly you are my money manager you are managing my $100 you promise me a $10 return in one year. In that year you lose the $10 and make it back. That is not a $10 return.
Everyone should know by now there is no such thing as privacy. America has inched this in slowly, the idea that everyone's own personal business and affairs belongs to all of us. Gossip magazines are a great example of how we've been trained to get use to this notion, they prey on peoples insecurities of not having a fulfilling/ interesting life themselves to the point that people think it's ok to stick their noses into issues that are between two other people (or one person themselves).

Guaranteed 10% interest, it's a ponzi scheme run run.
Scary stuff. All I can think of is if Bush administration had suggested this. Holy hell would have been unleashed.
Yes, this idea reminds me of the time Bush and Cheney suggested that people keep an eye on each other for unusual activities as a way to discover terrorists.
Did you read the article? No one asked anyone to report causal conversations. Anyone who got that out of the article has reading comprehension issues. People were invited to forward emails and report websites to the White House. But I thought that's what the right wingers loved, forwarding emails and sharing websites. Isn't that how they get all their information?
Forwarding e-mails to your friends at the office is not the same as forwarding e-mails to the White House. I don't recall the Bush administration asking for the public to forward lists of websites that disagree with their administration. This is downright shady and dirty politics by the Obama adminstration.
