way to go VA, give our soldiers the ultimate gift of HIV due to inept VA employees!
I wonder if private hospials have better track records. It's that why they kick us out 4 hours after surgery...to preven infections we could pick up there?

he brought up the track record of the VA as being "good" I was refuting that point.

now if you wish to talk about private hosptials I will endulge you.

The types of surgery's they are releasing you from the hospital for earlier, are now routine surgeries, no longer highly invasive but using microscopic surgery. This leads to very quick recovery time, and less chance to get an infection.

Default Democratic Congress; Responsible for $2.4 Billion loss at USPS

2006?

I dont really see how Congress, even though it was R in 2006, is responsible for the Post Office's troubles. The PO has been cutting costs like crazy for years and continues to cut them.

Did you read the article? Most of the loss is due to congressional mandate to pre-pay employee benefits, something unheard of and only a congress so out of touch could think up something like that.

And several people got legionnaire's disease in privately owned hospitals.

Can you post trend data rather than 4 incidents in how many thousands of total incidents?
We could go one for one for days, how about some trend analysis to support your allegations.
