He left the firm in Dec 2008, his son is working it and they still owe him $2 million. What was the accusation from the Left about Big Pharma/industry money behind those that oppose obamacare?
Axelrod was president and sole shareholder of AKPD from 1985 until he sold his interest after Obama’s victory, government records show. The firm owes Axelrod $2 million, which it’s due to pay in installments beginning Dec. 31. Axelrod’s son, Michael, still works there. He didn’t return a phone call. The firm’s Web site continues to feature David Axelrod’s work on the Obama campaign.

It's bad enough when industry lobbyists extract concessions from members of Congress, which happens all the time. But when an industry gets secret concessions out of the White House in return for a promise to lend the industry's support to a key piece of legislation, we're in big trouble.
It is just amazing how the obama team has tried to smear normal, everyday Americans protesting at THs against big government expansion while his "team" are raking in tens of millions of dollars from the same industry he tries to demonize.

Snakes in the grass.
Hmmmmm....I seem to recall these very same people accusing TH participants of being in bed with HC industry.
The memo refers to two ad deals, worth a total of $24 million, bankrolled by the pharmaceutical industry that went to an advertising firm founded by White House Senior Adviser David Axelrod. Although Axelrod no longer works for AKPD Message and Media, his son works there, and the firm still owes Axelrod $2 million.
But how naive must one be to not see beyond the superficial denial in light of these facts?
