“I know there’s been a lot of misinformation in this debate, and there are some folks out there who are frankly bearing false witness,” Mr. Obama told a multidenominational group of pastors, rabbis and other religious leaders who support his goal to remake the nation’s health care system.

So now its moral to violate constitutional law and moral to steal money from my pocket by threat of going to jail in order to pay those who do not wish to be responsible.

Man what messed up leadership we have in Washington...

Don't make me laugh! Obama sees evil where he wants to see evil! He's the last one to break out the moral card when he was cool with not saving the the life of a late term baby who survived a botched abortion. These babies were put in soiled linen closets to die! And he blocked protections for them!

Selective evil makes me puke!

That whole "abortion" issue is a smoke screen and belongs in another debate entirely.

Health care reform IS a moral obligation and needs to be overhauled in some way.

I think it's a moral obligation, too.
A country is known by how it treats its least fortunate.

Yes and we already have medicaid, welfare and homeless shelters so we have many programs out there for the less fortunate

These are admirable programs although there are some who abuse these systems

How exactly would you recommend that we deal with the less fortunate better?

Yeas, it does need to have some things fixed. The thing is that the left wants no real debate and no concessions on the issue. They are saying public option or nothing which is not what the majority of Americans want

Better plan would be to lower taxes on all businesses and then have the excess money made from the tax savings go into a intercompany fund for healthcare coverage only. This would ensure that every employed American would have healthcare.

Keep medicare for the unemployed and those trying to overcome joblessness and keep medicare for the elderly and infirmed.

Tort reform and immigration laws being enforced would save the system even more $

For some reason the left doesn't understand that.

Quit changing the subject. Is that what Jesus would do?
Seriously!
