Quote:
The documents released Monday clearly demonstrate that the individuals subjected to Enhanced Interrogation Techniques provided the bulk of intelligence we gained about al Qaeda.

President Obama’s decision to allow the Justice Department to investigate and possibly prosecute CIA personnel, and his decision to remove authority for interrogation from the CIA to the White House, serves as a reminder, if any were needed, of why so many Americans have doubts about this Administration’s ability to be responsible for our nation’s security.
Love.it.

We need to hear more from VP Cheney - a lot more. A little birdie tells me we will.

Yeah, but the AG turned an investigating attorney loose on the CIA people today after Obama had said no. Maybe while the cat is away the mice will play can be used with Holder.

If obama had said no, there would be no investigation. Smoke and mirrors. obama wants this to distract from the hc debacle, which won't happen.

I would love to see this SOB in an orange jumpsuit and hands shackled at the waist, but the old buzzard would surely croak first.

There's a warm place in Hell waiting..

For what? Being the most influential and powerful VPs ever?

Don't blame him for being competent and effective.

He tells it like it is - obama and the dems are proof positive why the American people have historically not trusted the dems/libs with national security - this is a perfect example. Nothing will come of it, other than undermining our intelligence services and creating a poisonous environment within those agencies we depend on to keep this country safe.

Nope. Bush was an excellent executive - just the way an experienced, successful CEO should be - using his people to the fullest of their capabilities, delegating when necessary and placing his trust in an excellent second in command.

"Experienced, successful CEO"? Have you never studied W's history? The guy couldn't successfully run a lemonade stand without getting bailed out by Daddy's cronies.

"Excellent executive". Please cite any evidence you have of this.

"Using" his people. I can believe, he always knew how to "use" his friends.

"The fullest of their capabilities"? FTW? Most of his hires were pure political hacks. Lied the whole time they were in office, crawfished (or lied) when questioned before Congress or Grand Juries, and then bounced back into corporate jobs where they we (re) hired strictly for their political connections and/or to keep them quiet. Unless, they dared to speak out against the almighty Bush or Cheney, in which case the "lie machine" got right on smearing them.

It's already coming out that Cheney agreed with the most horrific (and illegal) acts. I'm disgusted to think that I was once a registered Republican who may have contributed in some way to this azzhole getting any power.

Even for you the OP seems very delusional.
