The Dems want everyone to share their hard earned money but so many of the Washington Democrats evade paying their own taxes. And it doesn't seem to bother the Obama or his loyal subjects.

Rep. Charles Rangel is at least twice as wealthy as he originally reported, according to a corrected financial disclosure form the Manhattan congressman recently filed with the House of Representatives.
Not very Patriotic, are they?
Daschle
Killefer
Geithner
Solis
Rangel

I'm sure there is more but I can't remember then all. No change at all is there? I guess we still have hope.

I can understand how the leftists want to say away from this subject. There is just no way to defend such behavior, but I thought it would be very entertaining watching them try.

Maybe they are too busy making up another Palin story.

There are very few issues where I would agree with Charles Rangel but for trying to cheat the IRS I give him a "thumbs up."

If he is not paying what he owes than we need to put him in jail and banish him from Congress.

The Blue States send more tax dollars to Washington DC and the Red States take more tax dollars from the Federal Government. Red States don't practice what they preach. Its funny how hypocritical they are.

And I'm sure they all do own their taxes using Turbo-Tax
..........doesn't everybody who has assets of a million or more.

Yup, they run right on down to their local Wal-mart and buy a copy and dig in.

I dont think so.
Most have CPA's and accountants doing their taxes.....

Daschle and Geithner

The Geithner situation was way overblown.
It's because the taxes that everyone talked about were required of him to cover his employees, something he didn't know about when he was supposed to pay them. So they contacted him, and he paid those taxes. That's not tax evasion.

The taxes the Daschle "dodged" were literally paying medicare on a car he didn't pay for and its driver,
which doesn't even make sense because he never owned either of them.
That's why most people didn't care and why that should not have been an issue at all.

Isn't it interesting, though, that when we look at the top 10 richest people in the U.S., they're paying, on average, 17% taxes, whereas the rest of us are paying more than double that?

Or how about how many corporations the country over don't pay taxes at all?

Don't you think something should be done about them?

Oh, and these people just might happen to be Republicans.

Just for the record, an estimated 10 million individuals and businesses fail to file returns each year according to U.S. Treasury statistics.

yeah ok...Blue states spend a ton more money in federal grants than red states do. How did you get your numbers? You do know that blue = handout and red = fiscal conservatism right?
