They didn't need to do that to look stupid, but I take your point.

As a side note: I was ripped for using the term "socialization".

Well, according to the dictionary:

Socialization: To place under government or group ownership or control.

How are the plans for this march going? It is the 9th and I have not heard anything about this protest except this thread. Is this some kind of secret protest that everybody can claim to have attended but actually just stayed home?

Ah, that's what you meant...I was looking forward to hearing the tongue-twister version.

They're very organized and official. It's got a website and everything

I'm still trying to figure out the exact locations, so I can tell my roommate to avoid it....or maybe she should just hide in bed.

And there is no contradiction at all. I oppose socialist policy by the Godvernment. If you are talking about local government "services" it has absolutely no relationship whatsoever to the big Red Machine that operates out of Washington.

The only thing that is disappearing is our democratic process. The majority of this country elected Barrack Obama, however, the minority is having a very difficult time accepting that and is therefore making everyone's life a living h*ll. I resent that and I find it un-American. Apparently, the democratic process means zilcho to the right-wing extremists in this country. Losers with a CAPITAL "L".

The protest won't amount to much until the average person is aware of the following:

[] Dollar bills are not dollars (see: Title 12 USC Sec. 411)
[] Dollar bills are worthless (no par value), since 1933 (House Joint Resolution 192, June 1933)
[] Dollar bills, being debt, cannot pay debt (Art. 1, Sec. 10, USCON)
[] National debt is impossible to pay (not enough gold in the world)
[] You can't question the public debt, pursuant to the 14th amendment, clause 4
[] The Secretary of Treasury is U.S. Governor of the World Bank and IMF. Pursuant to Title 22 USC Sec. 286a, he shall not be paid by the U.S. government.
[] Every participant (voluntary) in Socialist InSecurity is a human resource pledged as collateral on the impossible debt.

Dissent and questioning is very American..at least that is what the Dems said when Bush was in the WH. I guess the same does not apply anymore...
