I think all the Republicans and Conservatives who don't believe in government run healthcare, should go out and buy private insurance policies for their elderly family members.
When they do that, I will believe them~
So you are saying liberals are not willing to provide for their elderly family members? How heartless of you.
Some of us DO provide for our older relatives, at great personal expense. You know why we do it? Because it is our responsibility. Do liberals remember what that word means? I will give you a hint, it DOESN'T mean waiting for the government to fix everything for you.
I see inefficient programs being cut in the business world (even if it takes a long time), however with government I don't see inefficient/ineffetive programs going away - I see increases in taxes and increases in national debt.
Either way, trusting a health insurance company or the government to take care of you is a foolish thing to do.
When was the last time you saw an increase the income tax? When was the last time you saw an increase in your health insurance premium?
Ummm didn't Obama say changing the government is like turning the Titanic? Also I don't want to wait potentially 2 years to make changes. That is the difference between government and private enterprise. Private enterprise is nimble and can change on a dime. Can government? I don't think so.
Yea I seen how nimble the insurance companies are. AIG
