Upon Obama's decision to send more troops, I would respect him more if he returned the prize. It's a PEACE prize, not a WAR prize.

I don't fault Obama for getting the prize. I fault the Nobel panel, those starry-eyed Obama fans who refused to wait and see what else he could've achieved. They rewarded him too early, for things he hasn't yet done, and now that he's plunged our country deeper into an escalating war, he definitely should return the prize.

What an irony for a peace prize winner to do. And I voted for him!

what the boys need is to come home!

quote from "obama should troop surge into goldman sachs headquarters":

Obama is in the middle of his Great Speech that totally ignores financial reality and sane strategy. Since the US rulers seem bent on destroying our nation, all I can do is trudge onwards, detailing how the bankrollers of both political parties work tirelessly to strip us of all wealth and enrich themselves. The following stories here cover quite a bit of ground. First, France mocks England as France takes over the City (London) after 1,000 years of battling the Brits. Secondly, Goldman Sachs is in the news due to fraudulent bond creations that bankrupted investors. And COBRA runs out of money to insure unemployed workers. Send them all to Afghanistan, Obama Warbama.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

Obama is speaking right now about how we spent a trillion dollars in futile wars that fix nothing. And so he says he will spend ‘only’ $30 billion in this insane venture of his. As the following article shows, this desire to spend many billions on wars is directly impacting on our nation at home. We have troops in Afghanistan and beg China for H1N1 vaccinations due to stripping down our own production systems. By the way, as the camera pans the audience, the young soldiers do not look happy at all. This is probably one of the more delusional speeches I have heard in years.

ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ

For example, he talks about how he has closed a gap between Muslims and the US war machine. This is totally insane. The first step down the road of recovery, as all drunks know, is to admit one is a drunk.http://emsnews.wordpress.com/2009/12...-headquarters/

yeah, tell me about it.

Probably more embarrasing for the committee that awarded to him in the first place.

Obama wont return the prize, of course, and will look like a hypocrite when he makes his speech there (all PP laureates make an acceptance speech at the Norway event).

I agree that it was going way too far to give him the nobel peace prize and he did not deserve it. He is a war monger just like those that came before him.

Indeed, the USA does make good money from stealing the middle east's oil. I can see that. And it is rather clever of us to muscle in on the opium/heroin money. And fueling the military industrial complex's economy is another added bonus. But he should not be awarded the PEACE prize for this?

We all know that fighting terrorism over there is a bunch of bull shi. A true peace prize holder would back out of there.

Does he still deserve it? He never did deserve it. I lost all respect for the Nobel committee when they decided someone who had done absolutely nothing should be awarded what was always considered an acheivement of highest level.
