So if you can't pay your bills now, just think what this CHANGE will do for you. So there is your free health care. The illegals are not going to be included.....who going to pay for them? There is still to many questions to be asked and answered before they let this thing pass.

Amazing isn't it? We have a president who is so articulate and effective in what he does that the Republicans can do nothing but sound like bungling, babbling, bungling mopes. Such a far cry from Obama's predecessor, the Republican president who thinks "dreams take wing."

Excellent, exceptional speech tonight by the president! All the GOP can do is continue to run in circles and chase their tails.

An excellent speech? It was a bunch of baloney! And most people know it.

I understand that it is not a complete list of rights. but all rights not listed are for the states and the people (10th Amendment). not the USG.

No but the Constititutions' 10th amendment makes it very clear that it would be a state right, not a federal one, if indeed it is a right at all...

Very low standards for you if the only qualification for you to be president is they give "articiulate speeches"

And here I am thinking that their job consisted of defending the Constitutuion of the United States, silly me...

All he did was repeat the same old tired lines that haven't worked so far.

He did make some news;

He is now adamant that all citizens will be required to purchase HC.

They are , and have always been, the party of "Crush the Middle Class" and obviously intend to remain that way.

Even AP can't ignore the lies;

FACT CHECK: Obama uses iffy math on deficit pledge - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090910/ap_on_go_pr_wh/us_health_care_fact_check - broken link)

Quote:
OBAMA: "Don't pay attention to those scary stories about how your benefits will be cut. ... That will never happen on my watch. I will protect Medicare."

THE FACTS: Obama and congressional Democrats want to pay for their health care plans in part by reducing Medicare payments to providers by more than $500 billion over 10 years.
