AUSTIN – Eight months into Barack Obama’s presidency, as criticism of his administration seems to reach new levels of volume and intensity each week, the whispers among some of his allies are growing louder: That those who loathe the nation’s first African-American president, and especially those who would deny his citizenship, are driven at least in part by racism.

The truth is the truth.

Even people in other countries understand that the anger directed towards Obama seems to be racially based.

People aren't blind no matter how the Obama haters try to slice it.

People didn't want government run healthcare when it was proposed by the Clinton's either. I know Bill Clinton was "the first black President," but did he face racism too?

Liberals can't debate the issues on any substantive level. Never could, never will. The liberal playbook: marginalize and demonize your opposition to avoid discussing the issues. Top two liberal responses to opposition against ANY issue: 1. Shift responsiblity: Blame Bush. 2. Race card.

Predicatable and weak.

The man skated into the presidency with the flimsiest of resumes and now when faced with criticism over his radical policies and ineptness it's explained away as racism?!
No sale.

And I have never seen it more prominent then in the last 8 months. They take control of Government but have no solutions. Then when the opposition calls them out on their lies the only response is Racism!

Pathetic yet very telling. I hope they keep it up.

how do you figure that

I know many people who dislike obama, and it has NOTHING to do with his race

people dont like obama because of his POLICIES
people dont like obama when he LIES and says no more earmarks, then signs a bill with 900 earmarks
people dont like obama when he says he wont increase taxes on americans making less than 250k, then signs a cigarette tax, a tax and trade policy the will raise the cost of everything, and want to let the 1% accross the board 2003 tax cuts expire
people dont like obama when he twists the truth on current illegals getting covered by the health care bill, yet is pushing and amnesty
people dont like obama when he says he is going to close gitmo, but has NO PLAN as what to do with the people that are there
people dont like obama when he SPECIFICALLY has the 'made in america' clasue taken out of the stimulas bill
people dont like when obama will sit there and take credit for the economy 'starting' to turn around when only 10% of the stimulas bill has been spent
people dont like obama when he states no lobbyists, yet fills his cabinate with them

sorry but not likeing obama and his policies has NOTHING to do with his skin color
