Don't you read the news?
Have you heard that correlation doesn't imply causation? Weather extremes have been ocurring for millions of years, and it's absurd to imply that you can draw any conclusions from a short term trend over just a decade. We've only been keeping records for about the last 100 years, so we don't even know what the weather was like in our own short "modern history."

You must be very grateful to Al Gore...without him you would have nothing to post. Seems as if you start and inordinate amount of "Global Warming" threads.

If you had any real interest in weather trends and climate change related science, you would be more aware of the fact that it is the intensity of the hurricanes as opposed to the frequency that the scientists are concerned with.

I have always found it perplexing as to why people will make statements without the benefit of the knowledge to back up the statements. It tends to make a person look silly and someone not to be taken seriously. Doesn't making a blanket statement that is transparently superficial and void of facts and data embarrass you?

El Nino happened. That pocket of warm water in the Pacific effects weather patterns. When El Nino is very warm, one of the results is cold air above the Caribean. End effect is no real hurricaines that year

The differing weather patterns that are occurring around the globe is a natural occurrence. End of story Al.

Revealed: the secret evidence of global warming Bush tried to hide

Photos from US spy satellites declassified by the Obama White House provide the first graphic images of how the polar ice sheets are retreating in the summer. The effects on the world's weather, environments and wildlife could be devastating.

I don't understand why people attack Al Gore so much. SCIENTISTS, and many of them, came up with the data, Al Gore was basically just the spokesman and the one that put the documentary together. But Al Gore DID NOT just make up the information.

Al Gore is the one rallying up the man made GW fringe of scientists. It's all about funding and money to be made. There are just as many scientists in the world that will disagree with AG.

Yes and because you make the statement, we will accept it as fact. Excuse me, I must place a call to NASA and tell them that the leading authority on "Climate Change" has spoken.
