The Kaiser Family Foundation released its latest poll of public opinion on health care reform that shows that voters are actually more enthusiastic about reforming our broken health care system than ever. The poll finds that 57 percent of Americans now find health care reform “more important than ever,” a marked increase since August:

Think Progress » New poll finds that public support for health care reform has substantially increased since the summer.

Could this be contributed to the Conservative effect?

Most of us want reform, but not a government takeover or single payer.

I sure hope that the sample of the people polled was better than the CCN's sample right after President's speech, where overwhelming majority turned out to be Democrats.

You should know that Rassmusen poll was the most accurate when it came to the Presidential results in 2008 as well as 2004 election.

Rassmussen poll came to the opposite conclusion

Just 41% of voters nationwide now favor the health care reform proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats. That’s down two points from a week ago and the lowest level of support yet measured.

When will Congressmen listen to the people and not the corporations? Of course most of Americans want a reform, they don't fancy the idea of dieing or going broke because their insurance won't cover their treatment. Those who were sent to the teabagging parties were nothing but puppets whose strings were being pulled by insurance and pharma companies

Define "reform"

I see reform as single payer...
