You can bet that Obama will tout something along the lines of "I have directed my Administration to STOP WORKPLACE RAIDS!" (queue massive applause here), in an effort to placate immigrants while asking for their vote. It's all smoke and mirrors, but I can see it clear as day. Wait and see.
You are very good at finding negative angles to positive news.

penalty for what?

they corrected the problem

had they scoffed at the law and not expunged all the ineligible workers, then they would be fined.

i compare it to a fix it ticket. (which does carry some processing fees, but rarely additional penalties [unless deadlines were missed]). AA was made aware of the problem and they fixed it.

now there are 1800 sweat shop jobs for other poor people in LA!

It's cussworthy that more Americans can't find work that they want so badly. We used to make everything here, with some imports. Now, it's the opposite. No wonder American made vintage goods are so valuable. I do long for the old days . We had clean factories all over the place. My neighbors in Maryland made canvas awnings in a little shop.

LMAO. One of the primary reasons after cheaper labor costs for outsourcing work was to get around the horrible EPA requirements.

Greeting's,

Indeed this is "Most Welcome & Encourging News" ..... Yes even here
in "Small Town" U.S.A......

Our genuine "Outrage" regarding this extremely "Disgraceful" and "Destructive".....
"National Debacle".... known as "Illegal Aliens".....
without doubt represents a most "High Priority" of concern within
the community at large.....

At Long Last..... extremely large numbers of American Citizens
are resolutely expressing their "Dynamic Protests" to many of
the "career Politicians" in Washington D.C. to end this Illegal
Alien "Nightmare" occuring within our great nation......

"12 Million" + "Illegal Alien Law Breakers" continuing to remain
within our borders and thousands streaming across our "Southern
Border" daily is unprecedented, unacceptable and absolutely
a threat to the very survival of the American nation.....

Some "Progress" is being acheived..... As described in the
"Good News" of mossomo's post...... Yet the vital work ahead
has basically "Just Begun"..... "Don't Strike Up The Band" and
start the "Victory Celebration" just yet friends .....

We have much to do as a "United Team" of "American Citizens"
to swiftly and effectively resolve the "National Crisis" known as
"Illegal Aliens"..... The definite "Scourge" of America 2009 !!!

Together with the "Urgent Assistance" of our "Remaining Effective
Legislaters" the "Tide Can Be Turned" and we may "Be Rid" of this
"National Nightmare" once and for all time.....

We must never , ever allow this national disgrace to be passed
on to our childrens....... children. May it never be so !!!

Thank You / L.F.
