Also I'm sure no liberal bias has ever exerted or tried to exert an influence on Biblical translations, right?

It's stunning to me how many atheists consider themselves "enlightened" and yet go out of their way to prove otherwise - to say nothing of making a point of often being obnoxious and childish in the process. Mom must be so proud.

So you believe it is okay to rewrite the bible because, in your opinion, everyone is doing it? Maybe we will soon have a bipartisan bible!

And with validating signatures from appropriate political figures! Imagine how much they'll be able to get for a Conservative Bible with a genuine Sarah Palin autograph!

No, I believe that just because some schlep is rewriting (or should I say trying to rewrite) the Bible doesn't mean it will suddenly become popular or taken seriously and so is anything to worry about. If Rosie O'Donnell wrote her own version of the Bible, I would just at that too.

I just wasted about 1/2 an hour on Conservapedia thanks to this thread.

They have some of the funniest articles I've ever seen, though! Read the one on Atheism if you have time, it gave me a good chuckle
