Most women do not relate well to electrical systems, high pressure air systems, hydraulic systems, propulsion systems, etc.

How many women have burned out a clothes dryer because they failed to clean the lint trap or by placing a certain nylon feminine apparel.

A tragedy in the making putting "qualified women" on a submarine.

you have got to be kidding. women in the service of their country take it as seriously as any man. keeping silent when need be would not be an issue. how childish to think otherwise

another bunch of total BS. the same thing can be said for the testosterone floating around an all male crew. women soldiers take their service as seriously as any man

Their patriotism, dedication to duty, and intelligence is not being denied or questioned. What is being debated is the physical shortcomings of women compared to men, and their emotional makeup and stability when subjected to the rigors of military service, in this case, submarine duty, and their impact on the efficiency of their unit when serving with men.

Let say you get a call from the ISG, he needs a detail to move a heavy wooden desk from the first floor to the second. There is no elevator. Send the ISG two female soldiers and see what happens.

It is easy to trivialize arguments by attacking the personal integrity of those who make them. That way, you need not deal with the argument itself.

Then you don't know what you're talking about. If the ship or sub doesn't have the facilities to deal with the pregnancy or the woman is beyond a certain point in her pregnancy then she's off the ship. Sub crews are already limited.
