Well said. The O.P. posted this for one purpose only — to start another anti-Republican, anti-Beck, anti-Limbaugh, etc., etc., thread.
I think what the Republicans did was atrocious if all the facts in evidence are true. Halliburton is hideous company that should be raked over the coals for the millions/billions it has "raped" us for and for its employee policies. I think what you write above is truly dangerous, however. It appears one cannot even question the actions of the Republican party (or ideology) you support without having an ulterior motive. Is the purpose of saying something anti-Obama also "just to start another...thread"? Is criticism not allowed or is it only to be perceived as an attack? Doesn't that serve to completely undermine any attempt at getting at the truth and solving the problem? This last question I think should be answered in the affirmative.

Sadly there are anti-rape type devices used widely in South Africa.
The rapist's families should be notified of what they had done, especially if they are married. I'm sure the spouses back here in the USA would love to take all that money they worked for and just walk away from them with it. That would be some good justice. The dirt bags!
The bigger topic is the accommodation liberals make for rapists they happen to agree with politically and their use of rape as a political tool. Sorry you can't deal with the hypocrisy of your side on the issue.
Is your opinion that it is okay for a company which has a government contract to have a clause in their fine print allowing rapists to go without prosecution?
If your answer is yes, you agree with the 30 Republican Senators which voted to allow this practice to continue. I your answer is no, you disagree with the majority of Republican Senators.
