It should be pointed out as well that this is the highest point the LEI has been at in 2 YEARS. Like it or not, it's made a big move up.

Seems you are part of a group of posters who HATE good news.
I'm doing fine, thanks for asking. Bad news for the economy is good IMO because it means the excesses are getting purged. Just as a fever is good news and means the sickness is being purged by the immune system.

What can I say? Shorting (rather, put contracts) on stocks in 2007 and going long on oil has reaped great rewards for this otherwise broke grad student.

Well Ken..good news for you and the numbers you follow. Other indicators still need to find their footing.

I follow port traffic and that is still one sick puppy. I hope the numbers are better next month..that would be for 4Q Christmas stuff for retail.
