That's all he is. A sellout who uses America's fear of illegal immigrants to make money, and it workd well for him.

Some of the things he says are accurate. A lot of it is total BS. The guy is a total sellout and a crap journalist for sure though. It is very, very obvious what his true motives are and they are not to produce good journalism.

But it seems like sellouts and crap journalists are what the American people enjoy these days. People like Journo-tainers, no good Journalists.

He probably quit CNN just so he could join the bandwagon of far right wingnuts like Beck and Hannity.
Welcome...welcome come one come all. Let the sane depart from the insane. Dobbs tackled the second most pressing concern of the U.S. today, illegal immigration. Actually it is now the third most, as thanks to Obama, jobs now has risen to the top, then muslim extremists, then illigeal immigration.
Build a wall around this country, expell all illegal immigrants, tax breaks for all that work, impeach Obama as the incompetent traitor that he is and begin a concerted effort to reprogram the left wing fascist brainwashed public school 102 I.Q. socialist gimmieguts.

Good for Lou! He didn't belong over at the Crappy News Network anyway.
I hope FOX does pick him up!

Lou Dobbs To Depart CNN

A CNN executive confirmed that Mr. Dobbs will announce his resignation plans on his 7 p.m. program. His resignation is effective immediately; tonight’s program will be his last on CNN. His contract was not set to expire until the end of 2011.
Update: Lou Dobbs to Quit CNN - Media Decoder Blog - NYTimes.com
I wondered how long he would last at CNN. He's much too sane, and honest to last on such a liberal, PC network as CNN . I like him very much, and hope he doesn't disappear from the media. Maybe Fox TV will hire him. They are the only place left for Conservatives, other than Radio..

Yes, he is.

ugh, I am so sad that he's leaving CNN. I'm a liberal and don't watch Fox, but I am anti illegal immigration and he was the only objective person on CNN that really knew a lot about it. He was not left or right, he really was non-partisan.

And to continue to do so in the most honest and direct manner, I've talked extensively with Jonathan Klein, John is the President of CNN, and as a result of those talks, John and I have agreed to a release from my contract that will enable me to pursue other opportunities. At this point, I'm considering a number of options and directions and I will let you know when I set my course. I truly believe the major issues of our time include the growth of our middle class, the creation of more jobs, healthcare, immigration policy, environment, climate change and our military involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq. But each of those issues is, in my opinion, informed by our capacity to demonstrate strong resilience of our now weakened capitalist economy and demonstrate the political will of our lack of true representation in Washington DC. I believe they used to be profoundly critically important issues and I will continue to strive to deal honestly and straightforwarldy with those issues in the future. Unfortunately, these issues are now defined in the public arena by partisanship and ideaology rather than by rigorous empirical thought and with forthright analysis and discussion. I will being working diligently to change that as best I can, and as for the important work for restoring inspiration to our great free society and our market economy, I will strive to be a leader in that national conversation. It's been my great honor to work with each and every person at this wonderful network. I will be eternally grateful to CNN, Ted Turner and to all of my colleagues and friends and to all of you home."

Great words from a great man! It's sad we don't have more journalists with the class and objectivity as Lou Dobbs. He is by far the best on television
I agree 100%. There needs to be another tv conservative news network.

This will be good. CNN is not the lowest rated cable news. Watch the numbers drop more without Dobbs.
