Well, that would be the "record" for the last three months. The deficit this past July was $180.7B. And despite all the whining and screaming, spending for this October was DOWN $10 billion from October 2008...

Story doesnt say three months, it says October, ok, so the record deficit for "October" is $176.4, but now you are also admitting the record deficit in July of $180.7B... How wonderful.. We have record deficits..

And you think the fact that spending is down $10B is what should be celebrated when we have $175B deficits going on..

Oooh the spinning is histerical...

Actually, it's not a record for October either, as the early November 2008 release for October 2008 showed a deficit of $237.2 billion.
