I was just thinking..For those of you that have already labeled this guy a terrorist, why haven't you complained about him being detaineed and tried on American soil? So many are afraid of Gitmo detainees being tried in country, why not this guy? You say he's a terrorist and you know he has killed. What's the difference?

That is exactly why you don't want to label him a Terrorist. try him for 13 murders and convict him. As for the Death Penalty, Martyrdom was his goal. Keep him around paralyzed for decades so he can suffer.

Actually according to an article in Slate, there are already 355 terroists in US prisons.

Quote:
According to data provided by Traci L. Billingsley, spokeswoman for the U.S. Bureau of Prisons, federal facilities on American soil currently house 216 international terrorists and 139 domestic terrorists. Some of these miscreants have been locked up here since the early 1990s. None of them has escaped. At the most secure prisons, nobody has ever escaped, period.

Also, the 9/11 Detainees will be tried in New York. Including Khalid Sheikh Mohammed reportedly confessed to being the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks after being waterboarded.
