Rep. Emanuel Cleaver of Missouri is seeking to pass a resolution that would officially make the day before Thanksgiving "Complaint Free Wednesday." A Democratic lawmaker has a message for Americans voicing concerns over rising unemployment, record federal deficits, the health care debate and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq: Stop complaining so much. Rep. Emanuel Cleaver of Missouri is seeking to pass a resolution that would officially make the day before Thanksgiving "Complaint Free Wednesday."
This place would be great if we could get rid of the cry babies du jour and let the grown ups talk for a change. Although that would only leave about 2 Republicans I think.
Hey a day without complaint from either party would be a good day and something to be thankful for. But I do not view such a proposal as a partisan issue. Rather I think of it as just another silly holiday like secretaries day or talk like a pirate day. Sure a few of us may remember it on the calendar and not post some rant here in the forum but most of us would over look it and continue on our merry ticked off rantings. But if it makes a few of us feel better there is a day of refuge good for the holiday.
If this passes, 99.99% of the conservatives/Republicans/rightwingers whiners would be gone from CD forums making this a better place.
What about the liberal whiners?
