I just read this story about a Walmart closing for two hours because folks got too rowdy earlier today. I just don't get how this whole "black friday" concept can cause folks to behave like greedy animals!

Fighting to send their money to China so we can borrow it back, and then complain about somebody sold out America

Hey Einstein..I just picked up a pair of $180 Cole-Haan shoes from Neiman Marcus and I see they are made in China. How can that be? I thought only Wal-Mart carried stuff from China.

Do you ever get tired of whining about Wal-Mart constantly on every thread?

I'd say get rid of Black Friday altogether. It's getting beyond ridiculous.

OK how much business with China does Neimann Marcus do compared with SLAVEMART?

You just go on shopping there but don't complain about someone else selling America down the drain

I totally agree. It is becoming hazardous for store employees and shoppers alike and it serves no purpose but to line the pockets of greedy merchants.

As a percentage of their total number of stores? Quite a bit actually. A lot of stuff marketed at Neimans is manufactured in China.

Black Friday has run it's course and now is nothing but a joke and an excuse to act like an animal. I say don't put ANYTHING on sale that day and just be business as usual. People are still going to shop because they have the day off and are in a present shopping mood.

They could change it to White Friday but I'm sure some lawsuits might come about and Jessie might be looking for some heads to roll.
