Somebody should honestly hit this town with a LAWSUIT and make them pay all the legal cost after they LOSE. Hopefully the ACLU will sue their pants off. They allow a PUBLIC Fire Station to hang up a "Merry Christmas" sign from Thanksgiving to New Years but they allow the Jews only a single day to display a Menorah! Out friggin rageous that these religious fruits still want to disobey the laws and deny others their rights. Sue!!

Jews have never pushed their religion on anyone and their teachings do not permit them to. Some Christians obviously like to shove their plastic decorations (most likely made in China) in one's face.

I agree but the Jews have rights too. And they should be enforced.

Let's see..... 1.5% of the American population is Jewish.

75.5% of the American population identifies themselves as Christian.

Seems to me one day is far to long and should be cut back to 12 hours.

There is nothing to reconsider. The law is the law. Change it or be sued!

Guess the Jews are not that insecure about their faith. In fact, any holiday symbols are just that, symbols. They are not just for decorative purposes. The Menorah was carried over from ancient times and ancient history of the Jews. The X-mas tree is not even a symbol from the times of Jesus and I do not think that Santa Claus was present at The Last Supper. Passover and Chanukkah are both represented by candles, which were actually used in biblical times on these occassions. Maybe an occasional dradel here and there, but there is nothing garrish used as displays on Jewish holidays and Jews probably enjoy the lesser amount of commercialism surrouding their holidays.

And when the city gets hit with the lawsuit and is forced to shell out money in legal expenses, it is the tax payers who fund the city and the citizens who use services that will suffer. I just love it how liberals decry it when governmental services get cut but advocate for legal nonsense such as this over a petty issue. Also, when cities have to cut services, usually employees are being laid off. No one thinks about the consequences of frivilous lawsuits!

Are you Jewish or do you just dislike Christians that much?
