I doubt that Fox/O\'reilly would have paid her millions if that were the case.
The settlement
On October 28, 2004, O\'Reilly and Mackris reached an out-of-court settlement and dropped all charges against each other. No announcements were made about the amount of the settlement.
According to several published reports, as part of the settlement, O\'Reilly paid Mackris millions of dollars, but the terms of the agreement are confidential.[6] Mackris\' complaint had also sought additional damages and described alleged actions of retaliation by Fox
ok, fair enough, then that means Michael Jackson was also guilty, he wouldn\'t have paid millions if that wasn\'t the case either.
The fact is that these Fox foul-ups have been common knowledge for years now. Whenever a GOP figure is involved in a scandal, Fox portrays them as Democrats.
Foley and the House pageboy scandal in 2006
Mark Sanford involved in a very public affair (2009)
Ted Stevens convicted of corruption (2008)
Maybe you haven't been paying attention.

Um.. ok.
Just put you in the iggy bin then. The burden of proof is on you, not me. Prove your point or quit wasting thread space.
It was another city-data member who posted that. Can you disprove it?
I'd like to see the proof that she said it. She wouldn't have sued him, and rightfully so, if he had done nothing wrong. He also would not have settled if she didn't have proof of his actions. After all, he claimed, before more than one person, what he would do if someone were to try to sue him.
O'Reilly paid Mackris, that's proof enough for the intelligent among us.

Ignore is for wimps.
You have to love that "fair and balanced" Fox news that went to court to uphold their right to lie to their viewers.
I would have thought they would have more qualified people working at Fox but these "mistakes" as seen above, and the most recent on Hannity regarding the pictures of the rally, indicate it just isn't so.

Fox calls itself a news channel, but anyone who's informed on the issues can clearly see that they aren't.
Not a big proponent of free speech, are ya? I suppose if it doesn't align with your views, its "border line criminal".
Free Speech has limits for good reason. You can't yell "fire" in a crowded theater.
Writing about pedophilia and then reading it on air is not only in bad taste, in my view it borders on criminal.
Or would you like your young children to learn how to perform cunnilingus while they're in the car with you? Or somewhere that it's playing in the background?
Try to apply a modicum of common sense here.
