That's still wrong.

In the first place, I'd like to see some evidence that Congress had to approve of McCain's running. Link please?

In the second place, the Democratic Party has absolutely no authority over what happens within the Republican Party and zero power to prevent the Republican's from running anyone they want.

In the third place, had Obama not been a citizen and qualified to run, would the Republican Party have remained silent on the issue?
There are several links below about McCain's citizenship. The Senate declared him to be a "natural born citizen" so he could run.

Just for laughs:

IS JOHN McCAIN AN ILLEGAL ALIEN?--- OR JUST A NATURALIZED CITIZEN?

In 1904 the US Congress passed a law that stated if a child was born in the Panama Canal zone they were considered to be a natural-born US citizen.

Obama, even IF born is Hawaii could not be a US citizen because his mother was not of age and dropped her citizenship, therefore rendering him not eligible to become a natural born US citizen.
This is a crock of s***! If Obama was born in Hawaii (and he was), he is a US citizen no matter what the citizenship of his parents.

A woman who has had a baby is considered "of age" no matter what her age.

There is no evidence that Obama's mother ever dropped her US citizenship. Please provide a link.

Oh boy, y'all are really grasping at straws now.
Straws, however small, add some buoyancy. This is more like grasping for bricks, in the fervent hope that if you go through enough bricks, eventually you'll find one that floats.

( goodness )

Kids born to Military people no matter where they are born are considered natural born and can run for the office.

His father was in the military, and a hero, end of story. Way to much for you to understand I believe.

If not, YOUR demcracked party would not have allowed him to run. Read the above, even the demcracked controlled congress agreed.

Why be on the wrong side of right all the time?

Join the crowd, McCain did it all correctly and did not hide a thing. Baby Bubba purposely hid his entire lifetime of info from everyone for a reason.
Give it up already. You've lost this argument, much in the same swift fashion McCain lost the election. To use a phrase you frequently use, you and birthers are the gift that keeps on giving. With every post you make or every second they get on the news, the further they distance the GOP into oblivion.

No, the Senate did NOT declare him to be a natural born citizen. Previous law did that and the Senate merely registered it's agreement with the existing law.

Hey Sunny, just because someone is in the military doesn't mean a thing. It does not make them heroes.
Most are just like everyone else, a bunch of good people with integrity, a bunch of slackers, a bunch of power-hungry insecure jerks and a bunch of corrupt weasels; there are also a lot of entitled people who are too dumb to get a real job or want to live in the socialist community where all of their needs are taken care of by the taxpayer.

C'mon Dane. He heard it on Rush Limbaugh and then on Fox. So it must be true!

From link #3:

but some commentators have questioned whether he can be considered to have been natural-born because he was born on a U.S. Navy base in the Panama Canal Zone.

Now, however, the Senate has moved to put that minor controversy to rest. Yesterday, the Senate passed a resolution declaring that McCain is a natural-born citizen.

Yep. Kerry was in the military and I'd be willing to bet my next paycheck Sunny D was one of those saying he was a traitor.

What's fascinating is that they keep using the same strategies that cost them the election. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Where does this leave the GOP?
