Did anyone catch this? Evidently, they just closed down operations today (January 21st)? I can't find info on Drudge or any of the other internet news services.
This is SO awesome!
The country is coming back to its senses one day at a time
The people have spoken, once again. God bless America, and GD Air Amerika.
FYI...anyone that is worth listening to is alive and well on many other stations. I listen to Randi Rhodes, Sam Seder, Thom Hartmann, Mike Malloy and other progressives elsewhere. Their leaving is the reason that AA folded. The only one that was still on was Ed Schultz.

Right . . . But Randi Rhodes is kind of mean. I love Al Franken, but . . . everything else is pretty much noise. Ed Schultz got his MSNBC gig, and I'm all for that, but he is still pretty abrasive. That particular brand of abrasion is no longer necessary. There is a joke there about kindness, honey, and flies. WTF?

Well then, I guess you cannot comment on the failure of Air America. They lost their best voices due to contract issues and the like. These people are on satellite radio or they can be streamed online. They had great talent and all but for Schultz and Ron Reagan, they alienated the ones that were worth tuning in to hear. I still listen to everyone that left. Air America put on infommercials in the morning as opposed to some great people. Everyone knew that with that kind of management, they were doomed.
