Being born and raised in CA and having had a business there for over 20 years, I am always amused when the good people vote her and Pelosi back in. They are both bay area connected, elitist snobs who think that rules and the ugly things in life are for the little people. Their policies are "feel good" policies and they have always had a bullseye around business owners. Carry on Barbara on your quest to turn CA and especially San Francisco into a third world country. She is dismal at best.

Apparently, she is in trouble.

Campbell tops GOP race, has slim edge over Boxer - Capitol and California - fresnobee.com (http://www.fresnobee.com/2010/03/18/1863175/field-poll-campbell-leads-gop.html - broken link)

Quote:
But Boxer's image has declined rapidly this year. In January, she was viewed more favorably than unfavorably by 48 percent to 39 percent. Now more voters view her unfavorably than favorably, 51 percent to 38 percent.

In hypothetical matchups for the Nov. 2 general election, the poll found Campbell leads Boxer 44 percent to 43 percent, Boxer leads Fiorina 45 percent to 44 percent, and she leads DeVore 45 percent to 41 percent. The general election matchups have a margin of error of plus or minus 3.7 percentage points.
Maybe that is why obama is going to be stumping for her;

Obama to campaign for Boxer - The Hill's Ballot Box

Let's hope obama's record on campaigning for his members holds true in this case. He's like 0-3 so far.

Thank you living here myself, yes the People of California had better start waking up and fast. I don't want these same people voted back in, at all. Wake Up Californians.

In Pelosi's District the Republican barely broke into a distant third place.
If San Francisco is third world it's the only one where a row house costs over a million dollars. California, by itself is the 7th largest economy in the world.

There is no way I'd vote for Carly Fiorina... no way.

Campbell? Not ruling him out yet.... need to learn more about him.
And I'm not ruling Boxer out... especially if she goes against Fiorina.
