Michael Barone is probably the smartest guy in the country when it comes to the electorate, if you put aside all the Juvenile Partisan sniping, and look at the situation seriously this is the bottom line..............If Republicans run as strongly as Brown, only 103 House Dems are safe. | Washington Examiner (http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/blogs/beltway-confidential/If-Republicans-run-like-Brown-then-only-103-House-Dems-are-truly-safe-82360422.html - broken link)

Michael Barone? The "smartest guy in the world when it comes to the electorate"? You must be talking about a different guy than the pundit who appears on TV so much. This is the guy who predicted;

(October '08) Democrats "might" get as high as 55 or 56 seats in the Senate.

(2007) Democrats WON'T be able to win the Presidency next year, Giuliani and/or McCain "too strong" on "military"/defending us issue.

(June 2003) "In 2004 the Hispanic vote will GROW to 9% of the electorate". WRONG, in 2004 is SHRANK to about 5.5%.

One of the last guys whose theories and predictions I'd be any money on.

Although I will give him this; his NFL predictions are generally pretty good.
