I wonder what kind of distortions the right will come up with now that they've been proven wrong.

Would we expect any less from our President? It's a great setting to convey that he's doing it all for the children.

Exactly.

As usual, FACTS mean little to most of the responders on this thread

Just show them a photo, without any further explanation, and off they go

They really are that gullible

BINGO! Once my daughter was invited to a Bill Nye, the Science Guy, event. Guess who showed up for to dominate the event -- Al Gore, VP at the time.

Daughter said they were completely brushed aside and never got to ask questions or anythng.

The event was covered in the news the next day.

Nice deflection. He spoke to kids in one room, then spoke to the nation in another. The whole point is that the caption and photo combination was a lie. It didn't happen that way. He wasn't speaking to children in that picture.

Yes, cameras follow the President if the U.S. Yes, there was "phot-op" aspects to speaking with the kids, just like every President does. The kids didn't seem to care, though.

He probably didn't have time to put any thought into what he wanted to say so somebody did the mental heavy lifting for him.

Exactly, how are the people "vulnerable"?

Vulnerable means (according to Merriam-Webster)
1. capable of being physically or emotionally wounded
2. open to attack or damage
3. liable to increased penalties but entitled to increased benefits after winning a game in contact bridge

I'm not sure which what you are trying to convey.
