How far would you take it? China tried that and now has a demographic bomb on their hands (in their case too many men and not enough women). Japan's birth rate is also very low, and now their country is getting below the replacement rate. This is a serious problem if you want younger workers to pay for things like medical care and pensions/retirement for the elderly and poor. Why do you think the European countries have been so generous with their immigration policies to people from countries with high birth rates?
