Wait a minute since when did O'Keefe become the GOP? He's basically a reporter/investigator trying to make a name for himself...just because he's going after the left, that doesn't make him the entire GOP or even a little tiny part of it.
Correction to This Article
Earlier versions of this story incorrectly reported that James O'Keefe faced charges in an alleged plot to bug the office of Sen. Mary Landrieu. The charges were related to an alleged plot to tamper with a phone system. The headline incorrectly referred to a plot to bug the phone and a caption incorrectly referred to an alleged wiretap scheme....
A law enforcement official says the four men arrested for attempting to tamper with the phones in the New Orleans office of Sen. Mary Landrieu (D) were not trying to intercept or wiretap the calls.
Instead, the official says, the men, led by conservative videomaker James O'Keefe, wanted to see how her local office staff would respond if the phones were inoperative. They were apparently motivated, the official says, by criticism that when Sen. Landrieu became a big player in the health care debate, people in Louisiana were having a hard time getting through on the phones to register their views.
The FBI last week misrepresented themselves as African Defense Ministers to root out corruption within our Small Arms Manufacturers. O'Keefe and company were running a similiar operation but against a Senator (because of her blatant refusal to listen to the people/voters/her constituents over their anger at the $100M bribe she took to support ObamaCare ).
You've got to be kidding. You are comparing the FBI (who have the authority to do what they do) with those wet-behind-the-ears political activities aka aspiring Watergate wanna bes? Get a clue: It's not up to private citizens to investigate potential crimes. This is not the way to go about things in a country of laws.
Affidavits of what? That Landrue and Nelson were paid enormous sums of taxpayer cash for their votes?
Wake up - it was/is all over the news.
One of the reasons Brown won in Mass - the dirty deals going down in the back rooms of the Capitol.
we don't even need wiretaps to find the corruption since they are right out in the open with the fact that they can be bought, even bragging about what they got!
i think that is why the brown victory meant so much to americans. americans are decent and fair, and we see that people are willing to throw their party down to stop the corruption. let's hope both parties boot their corrupt out and let's hope that more independents step up to the plate.

You can B/S some of the people, some of the time and sometimes you can B/S most of the people most of the time but you can't . . .
Anybody reading this who hasn't tried to B/S their way out of a traffic ticket? "wanted to see how her local office staff would respond if the phones were inoperative"? Gimme a break!!!!! Hopefully, anybody believing that aren't homicide or burglary detectives.

Stupid is as stupid does
This is so typical of kids this age - on the one hand they are incredibly smart and on the other, their naivete knows no bounds. Regardless of 'why' it is still a felony to trespass on and tamper with federal property.
