So claims this Muslim American writer in the UK's "proudly liberal" newspaper, The Independent.
Quote:
Harvey Weinstein is just another case of a powerful man abusing women because we live in a society that lets him get away with it, but we can change that...
Weinstein is a symptom of the greater disease of arrogance, unaccountability, societal apathy, and from men who knew of the abuse but did nothing. Islam and Prophet Muhammad provide a practical solution.
Sexual abuse of women will markedly decrease when men stop abusing women and when men stop thinking that just because they haven’t personally abused women, they have no further obligations. According to Islam, every man is accountable to stop abuse of women—by their word and by their acts. Many abusers like Weinstein walk our streets, terrorizing our neighbors. Together, we can employ a proven Islamic model that will stop this madness, and re-invoke gender equity today in America, and the world.
Pretty funny considering the scandals of hundreds of underage white British girls being raped, molested, groomed by Muslim men. The girls went to the police who looked the other way out of fear of being politically incorrect.
Professor Alexis Jay's astonishing probe revealed at least 1,400 girls were groomed by sex gangs between 1997 and 2013, and unearthed a series of scandalous failings by local authorities
They actually think anyone is going to believe that? As T-310 just said, they are the last place I would look for LESS abuse. Look at Europe, those types of crimes are up since the influx of refugees...I mean immigrants.
Shrug. And I'm sure that somewhere in this country there's at least one christian claiming that obeying the teachings of the bible would prevent sexual abuse.

I think the author of this opinion piece is as free to subscribe to his version of his religion and to state his opinion as is, say, Pat Robertson. If you think that means I'm embracing either one of these guys, well, all I can say is that is quite a leap of imagination.
This from a religion invented by a child molester.
And from a religion that promises suicide bombers 72 virgins in the afterlife
