Considering she had an 86% approaval rating before the democrat attack of personal destruction machine went after her, " Forty-five percent of Alaskans surveyed have an unfavorable opinion of their former governor, while 47 percent had a favorable view and 7 percent were unsure. Seventy-four percent of Democrats have an unfavorable opinion of her, as do 55 percent of Independents and 15 percent of Republican."

Contestants on the Miss America pageant are not known for making controversial statements (Carrie Prejean excluded, and we all know what happened to her).
