We simply can't get along.

How do we expect our politicians to get along when we as citizens can't get along? We use these obscure titles of "Democrat" and "Republican" to place blame when really the blame is on all of us.

If we the people decided to band together and work at solving issues politicians would lose all the power they hold by dividing us. I don't care if your democrat or republican, how often do the politicians actually work in your best interest?

We have so much potential...

Have you ever listened to right wing talk radio

They talk about liberal (53% of Americans based on the last elections) as if liberals are terrorists.
Maybe, that's part of the reason why we don't get along.

You mean like liberals accuse republicans of blocking health "care" because they want people to die.

Or how about when democratic members of congress call private citizens nazis.

How about when Obama calls private citizens vultures.

Democrats are just so easy to get along with.

Thanks.

I notice you didn't say anything to dopo. Even though he was the one to go off subject.

Typical left-wing hypocrite bs.

In the end we have become a nation of speail interest that control both parties agenda. it was the brain child of frankiln Roosevelt and has spreqad to both parties. roosevelt even tried to satck the supreme courts in his terms and change the years he could hold office. Bascailly he was Julius Ceasar all over again.but I don't think lookig at hiostroy you can say that the parties have ever agreed on mcuh. Certainly they both were right of center compared to today. There wqas a consistent foreign policy from eisenhower to kennedyand taken upo agian by Reagan for 8 years.So9 I don't thnik the parties have every or will ever agree just has those supporting them wouldn't except in national emergencies like 9-11.

Where should Dems work with the GOP?

What's an issue you want them to compromise on?

The point that everyone is missing is that very, very few politicians on either side of the aisle are fighting for the best interest of the AMERICAN people.

If people can get over these labels that have absolutely nothing to do with policy anymore we could finally progress as a country.

But its ok...the younger generation is starting to get restless. Hopefully they can help put this country back on the right track since some of the older generations simply can't get along.
