Did anyone else catch this interesting response of Palin's during the Q&A period after her speech when asked what she thought the Republican-controlled congress's priorities should be:

"I think, kind of tougher to put our arms around, but allowing America's spirit to rise again by not being afraid to kind of go back to some of our roots as a God fearing nation where we're not afraid to say especially in times of potential trouble in the future here, where we're not afraid to say, you know, we don't have all the answers as fallible men and women so it would be wise of us to start seeking some divine intervention again in this country, so that we can be safe and secure and prosperous again. To have people involved in government who aren't afraid to go that route, not so afraid of the political correctness that you know – they have to be afraid of what the media said about them if they were to proclaim their alliance to our creator."

In my opinion she does OK when reading a speech off a paper like tonight; however, Palin goes all-over-the-place when she has to ad-lib an answer to a question.

Don't try to back pedal after you get owned over and over.

All you ever do is talk about the teleprompter, yet in reality they all use it.

The bottom line is it's much adieu over nothing and you know it. When faced with the reality that your argument looks ridiculous, you merely change it...as usual.

Don't think it's fooling anybody either. Run along now....maybe try again tomorrow.

And the Tea Party say they are something "different" and are sick of the spending. Then they invite Palin to speak. LOL.

Stupid. That is the best way to put it.

Backpedal? Please. I do believe I said she was using notes.

There is NO ONE, in the history of teleprompter use, who can beat you know who.

Isn't a teleprompter simply a technological advancement over reading notes from a paper? What's the big deal?

Palin stumbled over her paper notes a few times at the beginning like when she said ..."if Alaska is still that beacon of hope." instead of "America." Maybe she should advance to a teleprompter! She tried to run our state via blackberry, so she should be able to handle a teleprompter.

I agree, its not a big deal, just an observation. But the Left is so sensitive when it comes to TOTUS, they go a bit overboard.

I also liked the issue of the second stimulus, saying what a lot of people are saying and thinking - if the first one failed, why pass another?

Again, it's a non issue.

Like I said...come back and give 'er a try tomorrow. Maybe try to have something with substance.

Its a non-issue to you. To the rest of the country, it is a joke.

Anyway, she didn't need one and did a fabulous job pounding on obama's policies. She had some real zingers in there.

Default Who cares?

Palin and the whole farcical tea party nonsense are about as relevant as the mood ring and the pet rock.

Go President Obama!
