Same-sex marriage has been legal in New Hampshire for a few weeks, but at least one Republican state representative is already trying to repeal it by using the following as part of her argument:

"We're talking about taking the penis of one man and putting it in the rectum of another man and wriggling it around in excrement," said State Representative Nancy Elliott (R-Merrimack) at a recent executive session. "And you have to think, would I allow that to be done to me?"

Dude, as if men and women have never performed that kind of sex.
Also, not all gay men have anal sex.

The lawmaker has obviously been spending a lot of time thinking about it herself.

Wouldnt that technically be true? If you are going to teach chidlren sex education in school, and then accept gay marriage, which of course means gay sex is taking place, then indeed you need to discuss the various forms of gay sex in the process..

Is discussing anal sex crude? If its taking place, (and we all know it is), and if you want to teach sex education in school, then indeed the result is discussing anal sex. Its not "crude" to discuss the fact that its being discussed in school.

After all, if you can discuss with a 5th grader anal sex by using terminology like "penis", and "rectum", then why is it crude for an adult to use such language?

I know a lot of straight folk, myself included, who have wriggled around in excrement and enjoyed it. I guess I deserve to be arrested for my unnatural behavior.

Now you are being abserd.. The Republican lawmaker said nothing about arresting individuals for taking part in sex, (or gay sex for that matter)..

She discussed the consequences of gay marriage and the result of teaching gay sex in school, which is indeed a valid question many ask of straight sex as well as those who oppose gay sex.

You seriously believe that? Are kids taught about heterosexual sexual acts since opposite-sex marriage is legal everywhere?

But the fact is that it's not being taught, which is why that woman looked ridiculous. And yes, considering the setting she was in, I would say her language was crude and inappropriate. You'll notice in the video that the person conducting the meeting told her that she needed to focus on the issue at hand.

It's strange to me that some people hear the words "same-sex marriage" and immediately start to think of two men having anal sex together.

Have you never watched a porn? This kind of sex is not only "gay sex".
You act like only gay men do it.
Also, not all gay men perform anal sex, so why is there a need to illustrate that to 5th graders?
Do teachers talk about all the sex practices that happen between a man and a woman like SM, roleplay etc? No.

Seems more like she looks back at a time that had, and enforced, sodomy laws. If her purpose was to discuss limitations on sex ed then there was no need for the histrionics. I don't care what she does in her bedroom, why does she care what I do in mine?

Where do you live that sex education isnt part of the class subject? In New Hampshire its not a state required class, but indeed its a class required of many local school..

The issue at hand was the repealing of same sex marriage, which indeed would include the consequences of marriage. (which includes changing class classes to included gay sex).

Are you claiming the lady was lying when she was contacted from a teacher telling her they began teaching "gay sex"? If its going to be socially acceptable that gays have sex, then indeed teaching it in sex class is appropriate, including the language which would come from such things..
