Vice President Joe Biden's appearances on two Sunday morning talk shows this week are part of a White House strategy to both pre-empt and potentially respond to former Vice President Dick Cheney's interview on ABC's "This Week," where administration officials expect he'll continue to advance his sharp critique of President Obama's record on national security.
Are you seriously denying that the genesis of the agreements that Bush totally flip-flopped to eventually negotiate and sign did not in fact come out of Obama's meetings with Maliki in July 2008??? How far into the realm of complete fantasy are you actually willing to go???
Oh please. Bush always said the conditions on the ground would determine withdrawal. Obama had nothing to do with it, in fact it had been in the works for months.
Are you seriously denying that if we had followed obama's wrongheaded policy of cut and run in March of 2008, we would not be in a position to leave Iraq in relative peace? Or if we had followed Biden's wrongheaded policy of partitioning Iraq, we would not be able to leave in peace?
Cheney got a good laugh at that, considering obama is following ALL the agreements the Bush Admin put in place.
These two guys are no match for Dick Cheney, who is smart, and very articulate. He knows what he's talking about, unlike the two top clowns in the White House.
Obama and Biden have made such a mess and they aren't smart enough to figure out why things aren't improving, but getting "progressive[ly]" worse. And that's just the trouble.
Their world view is wrong, their premises are wrong, their "solutions" are wrong, and they have America headed in the wrong direction.
They are shining examples of why we must rid our culture and our government of liberals, once and for all, if we are to survive.
