This was a giveaway, for the sake of perceived bipartisanship.
It's mainly a tax-cut, but of course the Republicans oppose it to death.

That's the kind of crap they do.
Yeah, okay.

... But Brown was the big target on conservative Web sites, talk shows and even the Facebook page his campaign has promoted as an example of his new-media savvy.

"We campaigned for you. We donated to your campaign. And you turned on us like every other RINO," said one writer, using the initials for "Republican-In-Name-Only."

The conservative-tilting Drudge Report colored a photo of Brown on its home page in scarlet.

If he wants to run for President someday, he needs to prove he's able to stand up to and lead "his party" right now....

I'd hate to be in his shoes....

Yeah, okay.
Surely you, or Newsmeat, can point to righty sites/blogs that in an uproar over his vote?

So far, all I've seen is very few anecdotal examples of righties in an uproar.

That's the problem with being a Republican. They demand 100% loyalty and to vote strickt party line, or they will smear your reputation. Well, it didn't take long for them to turn on him. The funny thing is that everyone knew he was a RINO. It was debated right here on this forum and all other political forums, and people said he was a RINO, but I guess they loved the "R" behind his name too much to care.

There is no "turning" on him. As you can see from the links, just speculation and narrative coming from the Left in their attempt to manufactured another non-story.

Btw, can you really say this with a straight face as you have watched the debacle of HC in the democrat party? How many of those mod dems have the Left smeared, threatened and intimidated?

I think I was talking about progressives here some time before Beck said one word about them. You see, I studied the progressive movement of the 1920s many years before Beck even got on radio. Yep, some of us can think for ourselves, although I know that many here have trouble doing that.
Did you study at a public library, like Beck?

No, I was in college in the early 50s so I used the library there along with some help from professors about what to read. Do you know that I was in the Army with a college degree in my pocket when Glenn Beck was born? Yep, it was just like that.

I spent so many hours in that library the last two years that I wondered if I had some growths on my butt from sitting in there. I would go in to read about some topic and end up reading about something else.
