In Congressional Hearings, is it okay to judge and admonish Toyota, for example, if you take campaign contributions from competitiors?
In a courtroom, they wouldn't be allowed to sit on a jury with a conflict of interest. Toyota just made me wonder about it now but I'm sure there are other examples where members of Congress are publicly admonishing a business or an organization where they have monetary ties to a competitor or competiting interest. You know, if you take money from Shell should you be allowed to yell at Exxon in public hearings?
