What would you sue him for if you could? Being a jerk?
I would sue him for creating even more wasteful government spending to further his own political agenda and reckless disregard for American taxpayers who struggle day to day to survive.
Bernanke just schooled the legislators today that they cannot continue down this path of spending without consequence (and specifically associated US with Greece), yet you boneheads continue to rail on how many federal programs aren't getting extended.

Your problem is you think Bernanke said something new that nobody ever realized before. Pull some of that wool from over your eyes...

People warned about the housing bubble for over 3 years, then it blew up in their faces without warning. The number of times people warn about something is irrelevant. It will happen and it is unavoidable if the course isn't altered. You can't be an addicted shopper and believe the CC bill is going to get lost in the mail. Like I said, it's also the first time Bernanke used the term Greece to refer to the US.
That's because Greece is only lately in the news, and there was plenty of warning of the credit crunch, and more than a year went by after it until the equity market meltdown that brought the thing home in spades to the wider economy. Like an oil spill, bold action early on could have done much to delay or prevent the spread of the problem, but there was nobody to take up that dirty work at the time. We got the Hope Now Alliance instead.
As the result, every signficant economy (all the way down to ones like Thailand and Vietnam) has had to run a stimulus-style injection of capital and liquidity into their economies. Without those, the whole place would be in the tank. It will take time to roll all that stuff back, and everyone knows it. Move too quickly and you jeopardize everything you've accomplished so far. Not a good idea. The long-term is the long-term. Today is today. Don't confuse the two...
Information Regarding the Holding of Claims for Services Paid Under the 2010 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS)
We believe Congress is working to avoid the negative update that will take effect March 1. Consequently, CMS has instructed its contractors to hold claims containing services paid under the MPFS for the first 10 business days of March. The holding of MPFS claims will only affect claims with dates of service March 1, 2010, and forward. This hold should have a minimum impact on provider cash flow because, under current law, clean electronic claims are not paid any sooner than 14 calendar days (29 for paper claims) after the date of receipt. Be on the alert for more information about the 2010 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule Update.
Proof that taxpayers are being jerked around.
